Our goal is to deepen awareness of what it means to be Filipino by sharing aspects of our cultural identity through selected books. Through Libro-Bisa commentary and collaboration with independent publishers and writers, we aim to enrich the Filipino spirit through Literature.

Connecting with the Global Filipino with more Filipino Narratives

We ensure that the global Filipino community are not left behind for Filipino stories. Reaching the “imagined community” means making sure Filipinos overseas have access to narratives from home in their own language, so they can stay connected to culture, identity, and country through reading.

We read, review, and share books that reflect the Filipino experience and the relationships of communities within local and global contexts. We highlight Filipino narratives in the diaspora, as well as works shaped by island life, migration, and mobility across places and generations.

Connecting with the Independent Literary Community

We connect with independent publishers in the community by providing digital strategy support. This includes e-book editing and layout, digital publishing, social media promotion, and registration in national archives and related systems.
